We always bake a lot at Easter. Only around Christmas, the baking situation is »worse«. By worse, we just mean we are baking even more around Christmas. There is nothing bad about it. ;P Though, Easter baking is a bit more fun, to be honest. In spring, you can work with the first berries and fruit that pops up on farmers markets, you have spring flowers for decorations… it’s really nice! That’s why we’ve put together the Top 10 of our Favorite Easter Recipes – everything from simple cookies to voluptuous cheesecakes. There should be something for everyone!

There is so much you can bake for Easter. A staple when it comes to Easter bakes, is a sweet braided loaf or an Easter bread. Without one of these, it would not be a perfect Easter. Everything else that ends up on the table depends on the amount of people that are coming for breakfast or brunch. The more, the merrier. But in that case, you also need more food… bread, cakes, little snacks, etc. ;P
Whenever family or friends are coming over for Easter, we prepare a cake or cupcakes. That’s the easiest way to have something for everyone. A sweet braided loaf or simple bread rolls are simply not enough in that case. If you want to make things easy for yourself, you can get everything from the bakery, of course. But to be honest – three days off means you have enough time to come up with something. ;P Doesn’t have to be complicated – as said – some cupcakes or cookies are already a good option…
