For the past years I have been a bit more selective when it comes to sweets. If possible, I get me some sugar-free chocolate or at least very little sugar. Luckily, there is a lot available now – that’s usually chocolate with a higher percentage of cocoa… stuff many would describe as bitter ;P You have to be careful what you eat if you got diabetes. That does not mean I don’t like regular chocolate – I’m just eating much less of it or use it for baking instead. Like these Kinder Chocolate Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. If you use chocolate in a bake it’s not chocolate anymore… it’s an ingredient ;P
