I am a big fan of vegetarian and vegan cuisine. We eat veggies and salad basically every day of the week. However, there is one »meaty« thing/dish I love a lot and can’t resist when in front of me: meatballs! I don’t know why, but if they are served somewhere, I’m the first to grab one. Even if I have to push other people to the side ;P That’s why we have Meatballs with Parmesan & Arugula Risoni on a regular basis. They are sooo delicious! And quite easy and uncomplicated to prepare I may add. In a little more than 30 minutes you will get this dish on your table. Quicker than most delivery services ;P
When the temperatures go down, the time has come for delicious soups and stews. They are made for colder days. In summer, I try to avoid eating hot soups/stews because they make me sweat. In fall and winter, they are perfect. They warm you from the inside and if you fall into a “food coma” nobody cares. You can just lie down on the sofa and relax ;P
Some of you out there probably have the same problem: one of the family does not like to eat fish and as a result, you are cooking fish only once every century ;P Well… that’s what is happening here. I love eating and cooking fishy dishes but I always have to make them for myself. Nobody else here would eat it. Even these delicious Salmon Bowls with Durum Wheat… only for me! In this case, I don’t mind. They are so easy to make and can be done for one person only quite quickly.
Dinner does not have to be complicated. We love a quick and easy dinner… for example, made with gnocchi. For that reason, we normally have a package of pre-made gnocchi from the store in the fridge. You can do a lot with these potato dumplings and in most cases, the preparation is done in no time! Same for this delicious Easy Chorizo Gnocchi Pan here. Spain meets Italy and everyone is happy about it ;)
I’d say everyone out there knows fried rice and has probably eaten it already. In Asia, every country/region has its own popular version of this dish. The recipes are usually simple – often made with leftover rice, veggies, and maybe some “protein” aka. chicken, beef, or eggs, for example. In Korea, they got this Kimchi Fried Rice and as the name reveals already, it’s made with delicious Kimchi ;) Maybe not everyone’s cup of tea, but we really like the combination! Soo delicious!
Prepare a delicious dinner in 30 minutes or less – is that possible? After a hard day at work or many zoom calls in your “office” at home, you don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen to prepare some food, right? Sure, you could get some food delivered, but that’s often not cheap and also not really coming quick if there are a lot of people ordering at the same time ;P So why not prepare a simple dish like these Gnocchi with Bacon and Chicken? Easy and quick – all we want ;P
