It’s the last day of my “World Diabetes Day” week, but that does not mean this recipe for my delicious (Low-carb) Blueberry Cobbler is the last recipe I will post related to the topic of diabetes. Be warned. No, be careful not to miss any of those delicious recipes that are coming up in the future ;P
Today I am keeping it very simple with a cake that is perfect for “baking beginners”. Everybody should be able to make this cake – even though he or she never had a whisk or mixing bowl in his/her hands before. This Simple & Easy Yogurt Berries Cake does not need high tech equipment … a large bowl and a wooden spoon or spatula are actually fine here. No kitchen machines needed. With a cute little paper DIY most of you probably know from kindergarten, you can also decorate the cake very easily…

It’s “Bake Together” time once again! Yay! Once a month Andrea from Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte and I come together for this little baking event, but this time it seems it was a much longer time in between… can be due to all the lockdown stuff – somehow the time seemed to run slower or stopped at all for several weeks. Staying at home all that time doing the same stuff each day makes you forget the time I guess ;) Well… everything is better now, so let’s not complain anymore! Today I got a delicious “All American” Sour Cherry Blueberry Pie for you because the theme of this month’s Bake Together is “Sour Cherries & America”. The combination might not be obvious at first sight, but it makes sense at some point… believe me ;)

Today’s recipe is a German classic. A delicious dessert which has been made in a thousand different versions, I assume – probably all of them super delicious ;) I decided to make my Bavarian Cream aka. Bayerische Creme today with loads and loads of berries on top. As soon as fresh berries and fruits are available from local farmers on our farmer’s market I have to buy them and use them in as many bakes and desserts as possible… the season is way too short to waste any time ;P
If you are looking for something quick and easy you should think about Mini Berry Cheesecakes like these here. You most likely have all the ingredients you need at home anyway. Hi, my name is Marc. I'm a graphic designer.
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
