Sometimes the baking pan you have at home doesn’t fit the pan called for in a recipe. What to do in those moments? Well, don’t panic! There’s a solution! A simple little program that can help you out in a pinch! ;)

It’s really quite simple – by using this easy baking pan converter, you can bake your desired recipe in your pan without anything overflowing or overcooking because there wasn’t enough batter in the pan.
Using the baking pan converter couldn’t be easier.
First, you enter the size of the pan you have at home into the first box of the form. For example, a 26cm diameter springform pan. Then you add the size of the pan from the recipe into the box underneath. This could be, for example, a pan with a 24cm diameter. As a result, the little conversion program then shows a number – the factor by which you can multiply your ingredients. If you reduce the diameter of the baking pan by 2cm, that’s a factor of 0.85. That’s your magic number.
So, for example, if your recipe calls for 100g of flour, you’ll only need 85g for the smaller pan. This works with pretty much all ingredients in a recipe. With eggs and other ingredients that are listed in quantities rather than grams, you’ll need to be a bit more generous and adjust by experience. ;)
