Cakes, desserts, and stuff like that with apples are in season all year long because, unlike other fruits or berries, apples are available all year round (from local sources). Because of that, this easy Apple Pie Bread can be enjoyed all year long, both summer and winter, and every day in between. The cake is also really easy to prepare, so there is no excuse to not bake it straight away, right?! ;P
I’ve probably said it a hundred times already – I love cookies! They are the best! That’s why I got almost 400 cookie recipes here on the blog already and there is a new one coming pretty much every week. These Chunky Nutty Double Chocolate Cookies are the 398th recipe (as of May 2024) that made its way onto the blog, if I’m not mistaken. That’s quite a lot, isn’t it?! This banana bread is an absolute dream. I’ve baked a lot of banana bread in my life, but this Maple Walnut Banana Bread beats them all. Super delicious, great texture, moist but not soggy… This banana bread definitely gets a »5-star rating« from me. A muffin a day keeps the doctor away, right?! ;) Well, that might not be totally true, but one of these delicious Blueberry Banana Poppy Seed Muffins will make you at least happy. I am a big fan of scones. Served with some jam and clotted cream a real treat. Unfortunately, clotted cream is extremely rare to find here in Germany. That’s why I love scones that don’t need cream, jam, or anything else added. Scones that are good to eat as they are ;) Delicious little fellas like these Chocolate Walnut Scones. You can have a coffee on the side, of course, but nothing else is needed. A perfect snack/dessert you can take anywhere ;)
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
