It’s always nice to have some small snacks that you can munch on if you have friends over for a party or movie night. If the snacks are delicious this can be a bit tricky though. If you like everything that is lying around the chances are good you eat too much. These Easy Vegan “Sausage” Snack Rolls are especially delicious and dangerous ;P I think I have eaten half of the plate here… if not more. I had to take an extra walk with the dog at the end of the day. These little things are vegan but neither healthy nor without calories ;P
I think brownies are a popular sweet treat all over the world. Lovely chocolate flavor and a great texture (if the brownies are baked properly)… simply delicious! If only you could avoid those dirty fingers every time you grab a brownie ;) I know there are forks you could use, but who does that?! The easiest solution for this “problem” are probably these Brownies on Sticks (with Oreos). Brownies that can be eaten like popsicles. No chance to get dirty fingers. All clean. All day ;P
If you are into low-carb recipes and counting calories for a living – you might want to skip this one here. This Salted Caramel White Chocolate Fudge is neither good for you nor for me to be honest. We should both walk away and leave it to people who can handle the sweetness and the extra calories. This is something for the caramel fanatics and gym addicts on cheat day only ;P
Brownies are something almost everyone likes. I bet these delicious Oreo Brownie Chocolates (Pralines) will get the same attention when served… probably even more ;) They are small, cute, and super chocolaty – so small nobody will notice you grabbed one from the plate with the sweets. At least that is what’s happening here at home. Gone in a hot second and never seen again. Well, unless you make another batch ;)
I guess… if you like to cook and bake as much as I do, you normally have something prepared when guests come over, right? Whenever I got someone coming to our place for a movie or game night I love to prepare stuff I normally don’t do (during the week). Snacks that are great for a crowd but not perfect if you are only two at home. Snacks like these Potato Skins with Bacon & Cheese, for example. Absolutely divine but a bit much if you want to eat all of them alone ;P
We are big fans of mezze, antipasti, and tapas around here. All those small (and sometimes larger) dishes you place on the table and everybody just grabs whatever he/she/they want. Love it! In my opinion, it actually doesn’t matter if you are a large group or just a party of two ;P This Roasted Cauliflower with Whipped Feta is just one of many delicious options we like to make here at home. So get your forks out and let’s start eating! From my experience, you should act quickly because a plate like this is empty in an instant ;P
