Cookie Friday is back! Yay! Awful two weeks without any cookies, right? ;)
Well – the cookies are back – better than ever before! I told you already there will be a little surprise coming up – and guess what?! There is a surprise! Tadaaaaaa :P
Today I have a guest on my blog for the Cookie Friday! Yay! I could tell you now some things about my guest, but I think I should let her speak for herself… btw. this is my new Cookie Friday banner – cute, right? ;)

Hello dear bake to the roots readers. I am Sarah from the blog Knusperstübchen. I am blogging mainly in German, however, provide recipes also in English if explicitely wanted. I have stayed a couple of years in America and Ireland and came back with a whole bunch of great recipes that needed to be shared. On my blog I am now sharing these recipes and of course other favourites my family, friends and I love. These brownie peanut butter cookies are definitely a must bake and I am very happy to share the recipe today with you. Thank you Marc for having me.
The cookies are farely easy to bake. You just need some cocoa and chocolate and you are almost ready to go. They totally remind me of brownies as they are soft and fudgy inside but then again they are as crunchy on the outside as cookies should be. As I love the combination of chocolate and peanut butter (who does not?!) I put some peanutbutter mixture on top. Holy moly if you looove reese’s peanut butter cups you will definitely love this little treat. Now, let’s bake and enjoy your cookies. ☺

2. Melt chocolate and butter, leave to cool slightly. Now beat eggs and both sugars until light and fluffy. While whisking add the chocolate-butter-mixture. Combine flour, vanilla and baking powder and add to the mixture. Chop the chocolate and fold into the batter. Put batter with a tablespoon onto a baking sheet, leave some space.
3. Now whisk together peanut butter, cofectioner’s sugar and soft butter and put some of the mixture on each cookie batter (in the middle). Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes. Leave to cool, sprinkle with melted chocolate and serve.
