It’s strawberry season and you get those little red fellas everywhere. I guess it’s quite obvious to make something with them :P That’s why I decided to make an American classic when it comes to strawberries: Strawberry Shortcake!

It’s time for rhubarb again! FINALLY! I was waiting a whole year for it to come back! You know I’m a big fan of these red/green stalks! I would like to bake with it all year round, but unfortunately the season is very short. So let’s celebrate the comeback with this delicious Rhubarb Strawberry Almond Swirl Bread! :D
This cake is… a mess. Literally. An Eton Mess (Cake)! I made prettier cakes to be honest, but it is still a delicious cake… So grab the last fresh berries from the farmers market and bring back a bit of summer felling – you won’t regret it!
If you make cakes or cupcakes, it is important to be precise in what you are doing – the decoration is an essential part of the success of those bakes. Yes – sometimes “inner values” are just not enough – it is all about the looks!
Just kidding :P
Todays dessert does not care about things like that – it’s a big mess. And you know what…?! That is the best! Make an even bigger mess when eating it and let out some anger or stress ;)
Today I have something very berry for you! Little tartlets with a mascarpone filling, a layer of wild berries and a delicious creamy and sweet meringue topping. If you’re nor drooling by now, I don’t know what went wrong… ;P I am definitely craving for one of these Wild Berry Mascarpone Meringue Tartlets right now – but I have had several of those already, so I know what kind of deliciousness is coming up ;)
Summer – please come back! ;) Right now the weather is very… how can I say it without cursing? Well – not the best. It is raining a lot, then a day of sun, rain again… It is time to treat yourself with something nice. Something delicious. Just because :P
Well no – you and me deserve something good, so let’s have some Raw Summer Cheesecake to get the summer back. At least “food wise” :P
