It’s time for another “Bake Together – The Baking Surprise”! Once again a new topic for Andrea from Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte and myself. This month we decided to do something with gooseberries. Have you ever made something with those berries? They are sweet and delicious – and so is this Gooseberry Streusel Cheesecake! Care for a slice (or two)? ;)
Like ice in the sunshine, I’m melting awaaaaay… this song comes to my mind as soon as I see ads for ice cream somewhere – especially in the movies when they show that screen with the ice cream selection of the movie theater. The advertising industry did well with that, when they started using this song for ice cream ads back when I was a kid. Burned (or frozen?) into my mind forever ;) Well, I did not want to talk about music but homemade Chocolate Coconut Ice Cream – perfect if you want to cool down a bit this summer…
If you are visiting my blog more often, you may have noticed that I am experimenting a bit when it comes to sugar in my bakes. I published some sugar-reduced and sugar-free recipes already and these Keto Brownies are the latest addition to this category – and I have to say – one of the best recipes so far :D Baking sugar-free or gluten-free can be tricky sometimes ;)
I got some cookies for you today which I consider “healthier” than others. Sugar-free Pecan Cookies – good for your hips and your blood sugar level. Probably only better for the blood sugar level :P Well… not everybody has to think about but it won’t hurt, if you sometimes skip the sugar – that’s a fact ;)
Today is »Sugar-free Friday«! At least for me. It’s also »Cookie Friday«. That’s for everybody. In combination it’s »Sugar-Free Cookie Friday« – that’s the reason why I got some sugar-free (and gluten-free) Chocolate Chip Cookies for you today. Don’t worry if you are not into that »sugar reducing stuff« – you will not notice that these cookies are without sugar. Only your blood sugar level will know :P
Easter is over – let’s get back to business ;) I hope you had a good time and you could spend some nice days with your family or friends – of course, only within the allowed limits and restrictions. Don’t forget those 6 feet distance at the dinner table ;) Easter was very quiet for us this year, but I was able to bake a few things… which none of them will end up on this blog here ;) This delicious (Keto) Lemon Poppy Seed Bundt Cake here was made some time before Easter and did not survive until the weekend. Well… in case you still have problems organizing flour, you can try this cake here. No flour needed – almonds are used as a substitute here.
Hi, my name is Marc. I'm a graphic designer. I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;) Read more...
