It’s time for the next “Bake together – The Baking Surprise”! If you could only smell the pie I made for this little baking event from Andrea (Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte) and myself… this Sweet Potato Pie with Maple Walnuts is awesome! I wished there was internet where you can smell things ;)
What’s your favorite Pie? Apple pie? Cherry pie? Or maybe blueberry pie? There are so many delicious pies out there to choose from! One of my favorites in Winter: Blueberry Sour Cream Pie. You make it with frozen blueberries and it is divine! ;)
Somebody told me (not too long ago) that I am baking too many pies… well, could be. But let’s be honest, the term »too many pies« does not really exist in my vocabulary. Pies are great and normally easy to make. That’s why they should be baked as often as possible! Right?! I think millions of pies will be baked for Thanksgiving this year (in the US alone) – stuff like this delicious Salted Caramel Walnut Pie. That can’t be something wrong, right?! ;P
It’s THE time for apples and anything apple here in Germany right now. You can see cakes and pies with apples everywhere. I like that time of year a lot, cause I love apple pie and apple cake! Two of my favorite! That’s why I made some apple pie again… this time a bit smaller than normal and with Dulce de leche… soo good! You should try!

Another month has passed by already. A new “Bake together – The Baking Surprise” is up – the monthly baking challenge from Andrea (Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte) and myself. I assume by looking at the pictures of this delicious Blueberry Cheesecake Pie you can already guess the topic of the month – it’s blueberries ;)
Another month passed since the last “Bake Together – The Baking Surprise”. It seems time is running faster lately :P Well… a new month and a new recipe – here and on Andrea’s blog Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte! This time we decided to make something with coconut!
Well – you don’t need real coconuts to make this Coconut Banana Cream Pie, canned coconut milk is fine here. No need to go to the garden and climb the next coconut tree :P
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
