Earlier this week I recommended making some Mini Red Velvet Cupcakes for your loved one(s) on Valentine’s day.
It is clearly a good choice – there is absolutely nothing wrong about that. But let’s be honest – if you REALLY love your (maybe soon to be) partner/lover, you should make this cake. As you all know – Nutella is pure love in a glass jar. So this cake is pure love, because it is made with one full glass jar of Nutella! ;)

If the object of your affection does not propose after eating this Nutella Cheesecake or promises love for all eternity – something is completely wrong with him/her – or he/she is allergic to Nutella. Not much better, but acceptable :P
Just kidding. Everybody will love this (really) easy to make cake – which by the way does not need to be baked… so not happy baking this time, but happy chilling… :) and happy Valentine’s Day! Oh and don’t worry about Friday the 13th – it is the perfect day to make this cake ;)
INGREDIENTS / ZUTATEN
1/3 cup (75g) butter, softened
13 oz. (400g) nutella
3/4 cup (100g) hazelnuts, chopped and toasted*
18 oz. (500g) cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup (60g) confectioner’s sugar
*Note: If you don’t have chopped and toasted hazelnuts, make it yourself – toast whole hazelnuts in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for 5-10 minutes – keep an eye on them so they don’t burn – let cool down and chop.
75g weiche Butter
400g Nutella
100g gehakte Haselnüsse, angeröstet*
500g Frischkäse, Zimmertemperatur
60g Puderzucker

DIRECTIONS / ZUBEREITUNG
2. Transfer to a 9 inch (23cm) springform tin and press to bottom to form a crust. Place in the fridge to chill.
3. In a large bowl mix cream cheese and confectioner’s sugar until smooth. Add the remaining Nutella and mix until well combined. Fill into the springform tin and smooth out the surface. Sprinkle with the chopped hazelnuts and place in the fridge for at least four hours or overnight. Serve cooled, right from the fridge.
2. In eine 23cm (9 inch) Springform füllen und andrücken. In den Kühlschrank stellen und kühlen lassen.
