Happy Cookie Friday! I hope you all are well and you don’t have gone completely mad yet with the global situation ;) Today I got another delicious cookie recipe that works without flour – I still get many requests for recipes like that since the flour and toilet paper crisis started. You don’t even have to bake these (Sugar-free) Bo-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies – no flour, no oven… could it be easier?! ;)

It is Cookie Friday! Well and also “Bake Together”. This probably means these Vegan Spelt Flakes Cookies are twice as good, right?! Well… they are definitely delicious and if we ignore the sugar that is in those cookies we could say they are also healthy…. at least a bit ;)
The season of Lent is upon us ;) The time between Carnival and Easter is a time for many to reflect and to cut back. Not everyone stops eating altogether, but many try to (at least) eat more conscious and leave out alcohol or sweets, for example. We already turned January into “Vegan January” this year – since I am not drinking a lot or eating sweets anymore, cutting back on dairy products and meat once again seemed quite obvious ;)
My blogger colleague Andrea from Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte and I talked about this topic some time ago and decided to turn our monthly “Bake Together” into a whole week of recipes – all vegan all week long. What could be better to start this vegan week than making something nice for breakfast – the moment the week begins?! Right! So let’s get some oats soaked and some berries ready – it’s Overnight Oats Time ;)
Vegan Overnight Oats with Baked Granola | Bake to the roots
It’s cookie time again! Thank god it’s Cookie Friday! I got some really delicious Breakfast Cookies for you today. Crunchy little fellas for a good start into your day… you can also take them to work and snack them whenever you need some energy ;) Also good at night if you want a healthy snack before bed. Maybe I should rename them to 24h-All-Day-and-Night-Cookies ;)
I know these kinds of cookies are a bit controversial for some people – mainly because of one particular ingredient: good old raisins ;) Well, I like them, not eating them a lot anymore but if they are in combination with oats in these Oatmeal Raisin Cookies… so good! Some of the best cookies in the world! For sure!
If you using your granola only in the morning to drown it in some milk, you are doing something wrong :P There is so much more you can do with granola and oats… for example a delicious baked muesli (aka. granola). It’s easy to prepare and definitely a nice change for your meal plan during the week or on the weekends.
Hi, my name is Marc. I'm a graphic designer. I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;) Read more...
