If you like cookies as well as cinnamon rolls you are in the right spot! The best of two worlds combined in one ;P Today I will show you how to make absolutely delicious Easy Cinnamon Roll Cookies. The perfect treat if you are craving something sweet – also great if you want to decorate a cake, for example. Versatile little fellas I’d say ;P
I think Snickerdoodles are not the “most common” cookies here in Germany. Actually, I would say – hardly anybody knows them. Unless you are into American baking and stuff like that. Then you will have heard of them for sure. All others probably think… why such a weird name for cookies or anything for that matter ;) Well, maybe I can bring some “light into the darkness” with my delicious Chai Snickerdoodle Cookies here to explain where the name is coming from… or maybe not ;P

I am not sure if all of you out there are familiar with “Maulwurfkuchen” aka. Mole(Hill) Cakes. I think they are something very German. The Internet does not really know where they are coming from (neither did anybody I asked), so claiming them to be German is the obvious thing to do, right? ;P The base of this type of cake is a delicious chocolate cake, topped with some fruits and an insane amount of whipped cream – finished with crumbled chocolate cake to look like a freshly dug-up molehill. Well. You could also say delicious Winter Dome Cake with Cinnamon Plums because that’s what his one here is. Not a (boring) molehill cake ;P

Happy Halloween! Oh well… it’s probably not even Halloween yet if you ended up here looking for something bloody to bake ;) People normally do that days in advance. Looking for something to serve at a Halloween party. Well, if you like spooky stuff you are in the right place. These (Halloween) Intestines Cinnamon Rolls will make people say “oohh” or “aaah”. I’m pretty sure! And not only because this bake looks creepy, but also because the cinnamon rolls are super yummy ;)

My journey to find the best “Rahmkuchen” has come to an end. Finally! After years of searching, I have finally created the ultimate recipe with this delicious (sugar-free) Rahmkuchen aka. German Style Cheesecake! If you are new to the blog you might think “what kind of nonsense is that?” ;) Perhaps I should explain this “journey” a bit better. So grab a slice of the cake and get a cup of coffee… it’s time for a little story ;P

What’s your opinion about muffins? Do you like them? I really love them. They are normally really easy to prepare and very handy if you want to have a snack on the go. The opposite to the “fancier siblings” called cupcakes ;P Those fellas normally have a buttercream topping that makes them quite difficult to transport. They have to be carried carefully so the buttercream is not ending up all over the place and higher temperatures are also not a good idea if you got something with buttercream on top. So “yay” for muffins like these delicious Apple Cider Muffins! They might look pretty “basic” but don’t judge a book by it’s cover, right?! ;)
Hi, my name is Marc. I'm a graphic designer. I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;) Read more...
