The season for cherries still going on here in Germany. So why not baking some more with these red little fellas? Maybe some delicious Cherry Streusel Muffins? Sounds good? They are super easy to make and go really well with a cup of coffee or tea – even on a hot summer day. So grab one, get your coffee and let’s meet on the balcony… just be careful with all the wasps outdoors. They also like these muffins a lot! ;P

Happy Cookie Friday and (also) Happy Chinese New Year! Both happen on the same day this year. To honor both events I made some Chinese Almond Cookies today. They are not only delicious – these cookies are supposed to bring you luck. That’s what they say. I hope that’s true… after 2020 aka. “The year of the rat”, some luck would be nice for 2021 ;)
What can I say – Cantuccini definitely belong on the list of my favorite cookies. These crunchy cookies packed with almonds and great flavors are super delicious! Not only along with a cappuccino in the afternoon – I can eat these cookies all day long and if you give me access to the cookies I WILL eat them all day long ;P
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
