These Coconut Macaroons might not be the typical “cookie” but I still think they belong into that category – they are small, sweet and delicious, so in my world, they are a perfect match ;) And who would have known these little fellas are so easy to prepare?!
All out there that like braided loafs aka. challah aka. babka aka. “idk” have to take a deep breath right now… I got something really special for you: a delicious braided loaf filled with a coconut and pudding filling! Soooo good! When I made it, it was basically gone within seconds. Even though this loaf is already huge, I think I have to make two the next time ;)
I got something low-carb again for you. And me, of course. Something I can eat right now without getting too worried if it’s good or bad for me cause I know it’s ok ;) So let’S have a coffee and one or two of these Coconut Balls aka. Bounty Balls!
Do you have any favorite chocolate bars? There are so many different ones out there but for me the ones with a lot of coconut aka. Bountys do the trick. I love them. The chewy coconut filling and the crunchy chocolate around… so good! As a little homage to those chocolate bars, I made super delicious muffins that actually taste pretty much the same ;) Coconut Chocolate Muffins are the best! Oh yes!
Summer and coconut go together like peas and carrots, like bacon and eggs, like babies and boobies, like… I think you get the concept :P Coconut is something that gives me the feeling of summer, beach and a good time. Mostly because I get my cocktails served in coconuts at a beach bar… just kidding! I’m not an alcoholic! Even though there is some coconut liquor in this delicious Buttermilk Coconut Pound Cake… don’t judge me ;P
Happy Cookie Friday! Are you ready for a new batch of delicious cookies? Do you know how I sometimes decide what kind of cookies I want to bake? Very easy process. I take a look at my cabinets and used the stuff that falls into my arms first: cranberries, coconut flakes, and white chocolate this time. Could have been worse. A can of tuna was very close to the edge and almost fell out as well ;P
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
