Cheesecakes are very popular bakes I’d say. At least here in our kitchen and among friends and family. As soon as a cheesecake, like this one here, is on the table the room turns silent and everyone is handing you their plate to get a slice of it. I am not complaining about that. If everyone is happy and silent… why would I complain?! ;P Another great thing about this Extra Rich Cheesecake – it is sugar-free! Means I can have at least one slice! ;P
Using leftovers can be so easy and delicious! If you have some stale milk bread or brioche and leftover frozen fruit and berries at home you can turn them into an absolutely brilliant dessert in no time at all. A classic bread pudding with berries aka. Ofenschlupfer here in Germany! Maybe this is something for your next breakfast or when a whole gang comes over for brunch? I highly recommend it!
When it is wet and cold outside, a warming stew with coconut, pumpkin, and legumes is just perfect! A delicious vegan stew with loads of veggies, which could be considered “healthy”, thanks to a large amount of fiber from the lentils and beans. Well… at least “healthier” than a big pot of pasta with a heavy and fatty creamy sauce, right?! I’m pretty sure you figured that out already…. ;P

Valentine’s Day is coming up soon. The day of the lovers… or as I would say “the day of the florists and candy manufacturers to increase sales” ;P I got no flowers for you today, but some delicious Valentine’s Day Heart Cookies. Something you could make for a loved one or other people you like… there is no reason to limit yourself here. Make as many people happy as you can ;)
How about a delicious cake made only with plant-based ingredients? Sounds good? Well… I guess I got something for you in that case. An easy peasy Vegan Funfetti Cake with Vegan German Buttercream. I know, the name is a mouthful… but what you should actually do, is getting a large piece of the cake so your mouth is full. Does this make any sense in English? I assume, some of you already noticed that English is not my first language ;P Anyway. Great vegan cake with sprinkles. That’s all you need to know right now! That’s all I said.
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
