Happy Blueberry Picking Day to all of you! Yes… something like that really exists ;) So let’s celebrate this special day In honor of all people that work in the blueberry picking industry and, of course, to honor these little blue fellas! I made a delicious Charlotte with Strawberries and Blueberries (cause you should never party alone)! ;))
If you using your granola only in the morning to drown it in some milk, you are doing something wrong :P There is so much more you can do with granola and oats… for example a delicious baked muesli (aka. granola). It’s easy to prepare and definitely a nice change for your meal plan during the week or on the weekends.
There is always room for some cheesecake, right?! In my home for sure! Everybody loves cheesecake here – no matter what kind of cheesecake. Big ones or smaller ones baked in glass jars like this one here with blueberries – all of them are welcome in our home and bellies ;) Don’t worry there are enough glass jars for everyone…
It’s summer and easy recipes are always welcome, right? My motto right now – less time in the kitchen but still delicious and stunning desserts on the table. It’s possible ;) This Summer Pavlova with fresh fruits and berries is the ideal candidate here – easy to prepare and a showstopper on every garden party… in case you have a garden, otherwise a regular table in the kitchen will do ;)
It’s Cookie Friday! Yay! Somehow it seems the last Cookie Friday happened just yesterday with these delicious Cookie Truffles – but it is actually a week ago. Maybe it’s because I did not do much in between ;) Well let’s focus on these Mini Cookie Fruit Pizzas now – they are all you need to think about at the moment…
It’s not really the time for fresh berries and fruits from the farmers market right now. If you are lucky, you got a nice big freezer and prepared some berries and stuff last summer. All the others have to rely on the supermarket around the corner… which is fine. This pie works fine with all kinds of berries. Fresh ones, frozen ones from your mom and the stuff from the supermarket freezer. As long as you have at least 4 different kinds of berries. Otherwise, it’s not a Quadruple Berries Pie ;P
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
