It’s Cookie Friday again! Yay! Today’s guest is Oli from Puhlskitchen with delicious Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies (and berries that I did not even know existed until Oli told me about) :)
I know – it is a bit late to make Christmas cookies now – but it is Cookie Friday and you deserve cookies! That’s why I made these little fellas here ;) Happy Cookie Friday!
Earlier this week I recommended making some Mini Red Velvet Cupcakes for your loved one(s) on Valentine’s day.
It is clearly a good choice – there is absolutely nothing wrong about that. But let’s be honest – if you REALLY love your (maybe soon to be) partner/lover, you should make this cake. As you all know – Nutella is pure love in a glass jar. So this cake is pure love, because it is made with one full glass jar of Nutella! ;)
Back to Christmas cookies! I have given some other sweet treats a chance to make it on the coffee table but today on the third Advent Sunday we have to go back to the basics – good old-fashioned Christmas cookies ;)
Thumbprint cookies are pretty easy to make – form little balls of the size of a cherry or walnut and give them your thumbprint on top to make room for a filling – that is basically it ;) READ MORE
If you like nuts – especially hazelnuts – you will like those cupcakes. They are bursting with nuts. Totally nuts, eh?! :P
Not kidding. The filling is a sweet hazelnut paste, there are chopped hazelnuts in the chocolate cupcake batter and on top a buttercream with NUTELLA (which is a chocolate spread with… exactly – hazelnuts) finished with hazelnuts. Nuts, Nuts, Nuts!
