The “12 Days of Christmas Cookies” continue – today with sweet little Almond Bear Paws. Ok… they are actually not that small, but definitely smaller than the original paws on an original bear. Not that big, but definitely easier and safer to eat ;P

Green is quite popular when it comes to decoration around Christmas, right? The Christmas tree is green, green leaves to decorate walls and windows – it’s basically everywhere. So why not make some green Christmas cookies? Delicious Matcha Crescents, for example! They will be an absolute eye-catcher on a cookie plate for your next Christmas party.
If someone were to ask me “Which Christmas cookies are you having a hard time saying no to?” – well the answer would be clear: these Classic Florentines here! Since I made them for the first time, I’ve been addicted to them hardcore. Super delicious, sweet, chocolaty, fruity…. just the perfect combination!
I am a huge fan of Christstollen – not everyone that tried that classic German Christmas bake likes it though. It’s heavy and very sweet normally. However, I am pretty sure that these Mini Curd (Quark) Christmas Stollen will convert some stollen haters into stollen fans, or at least they will accept it (slightly more than before). These little mini stollens are really delicious and much smaller than a regular slice of a Christstollen… means they are gone much faster (in case someone forces you to eat one of them) ;P
Christmas season finally arrived! Halloween is in the past, Thanksgiving is history and the pumpkin season is officially over (at least for me). To make sure you have enough ideas and recipes for upcoming Christmas baking sessions I am starting a little Christmas Cookies event today called “12 Days of Christmas Cookies”. This means there will be a lot of fresh cookie recipes coming up until Christmas. Delicious treats to fill your cookie jars – if your family and friends are as greedy as mine, you probably have to bake a lot until Christmas, so these recipes will help you a lot probably ;) Let’s start with a Christmas cookie classic: Frankfurter Bethmännchen – sweet little bites that everyone loves.
Black ‘n’ White Christmas Cookies are pretty common here in Germany I’d say. A classic Christmas cookie so to speak. They look great and people are normally impressed when you present them along with other homemade cookies at a Christmas gathering. Nevertheless, these cookies were on my baking Christmas baking list year after year but I never made them because I always thought they were too much work and too complicated to prepare. Well… after making them once (finally), I realized I was completely wrong ;P
