I have baked a lot of banana bread already. Why? Because it’s hard to resist a good banana bread :)
There are a lot good recipes out there – packed with flavors – this recipe here is definitely a good one too. It’s made with booze ;) But that is not the only reason why it’s good. Banana bread – a beloved bake, but also sometimes hated. Not everyone can handle the delicious flavors of overripe bananas. ;P That should not bother us now – whoever ended up here is probably a fan of banana bread and will gladly enjoy the smell in the kitchen as soon as the banana bread hits the oven. Father’s Day is coming up – maybe this is something your dad would like? Well – give it a try ;)

Do you know what’s best when baking banana bread? The moment you open the oven and within a few moments, the whole kitchen smells like banana bread. Love it! The same will happen to you when baking this Nutella Swirled Banana Bread. On top your kitchen will also smell like warm Nutella… which is a good thing, right? ;)
Banana bread is probably one of the best known classic bakes from the U.S. – Americans even celebrate the “National Banana Bread Day” in February because they like this loaf/cake so much ;) My first encounter with banana bread was… of course, in Florida back in the days when I worked for the mouse ;) These banana bread come in many different versions – mine here got a big load of walnuts added. Really nice addition to the banana.
