Next week (Nov. 15th) “Bundt Cake Day” is celebrated all over the world – or only in the US? I’m not sure. In Germany, we would call it “Gugelhupftag”! A foodie holiday I can get on board with ;) Like “Cheesecake Day” or the day to celebrate croissants. Not so much with “Ketchup Day” (June 5th) ;P Anyway. To celebrate “Bundt Cake Day” I made this delicious Apple Cider (Donut) Bundt Cake. The perfect cake to have a slice or two to make “Bundt Cake Day” special ;)
Is there a sweet bake that everybody likes? Probably not, right?! There is always someone that does not like this or that. Pretty sure though that everything with cinnamon is liked by maaaany people. Must be since there are soo many bakes where cinnamon plays an important part – all over the world and in almost every culture. I am definitely a fan of everything cinnamony ;) There is nothing better than a freshly baked cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting on top… well almost. There is also this Cinnamon Swirl Bundt Cake – we should not forget about that one ;)
Bundt cakes are the best! If someone says something else you should slap him/her in the face. Well… not really, of course, but maybe in your imagination ;) They deserve it because bundt cakes are really good! This Chocolate Bundt Cake with Oreo Filling is definitely super delicious and worth every slap in the face :P
May I introduce you to the most delicious cake in the whole wide world: my Banana Rum Bundt Cake! Normally I am not using attributes like “the best in the world” (or do I?) – well, this cake definitely deserves this title. You could also say “awesome shit” – but some people do not like it when I say things like that, so let’s keep it clean and family-friendly. But to be totally honest – if you try this cake, you will say (or just think) the same ;P
Pumpkins are in season right now – not only to use them for Halloween as scary decoration ;P These big orange fellas are mostly here to feed us and since the season is quite long, you can easily get them in stores until January… and if you freeze them you can enjoy them even longer. Or make this delicious Pumpkin Chocolate Bundt Cake almost all year round…
This bundt cake is super delicious and moist. I know, many people have problems calling something baked »moist«… I don’t know why. If something is moist, why not call it moist?! ;P Well… more important than the level of »moistness« is the fact, that this cake is made with Eierlikör – hence the name Eierlikör Bundt Cake. The perfect cake for Easter! :)
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
