A month passed by already since Andrea and I made our last “Bake Together – The Baking Surprise”. Fascinating how time flies. Especially in summer. Seems those get shorter every year :P Anyway. The month passed and it’s time for a new topic – you know the drill. This time we agreed on making “a tart with fruits or something like that”. Not very specific :P I guess this time we won’t have very similar recipes. Well… I made a gluten-free Coconut Pudding Tart with Fruits and Berries. Delicious!
Today’s “Bake together – The Baking Surprise” with Andrea from Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte is a bit different. First of all, it’s not the end of the month (I hope I did not confuse you) and second, there are much more participants than usual! It’s a “Super Bake Together” and the topic is: blueberries! Some of you might know already why it’s blueberries ;)

You are already reading about it ;P This month Andrea from Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte and myself decided to do something NOT sweet for a change. This time it’s all about asparagus!
That’s why you can find the recipe for a delicious quiche with white and green asparagus, potatoes and ham here. Plus some homemade sauce hollandaise you should not miss! If you are not drooling yet, there is something wrong with your taste buds for sure ;P
Are you stressed by Christmas shopping and decorating the sh*t out of your home? It’s the same procedure every year – you want to get everything done in time to avoid all that stress right before Christmas… but that usually doesn’t work out at all. That’s why it is important to take a little time out here and there. Even if it’s just a small Flambéed Caramel Tartlet with Persimmon and a coffee in the afternoon. The combination doesn’t sound too bad, right?!
Today’s recipe is something savory for a change. Haven’t made anything like that for quite some time. Not because I don’t like it – not at all! I mean – who can resist such a beautiful tart with potatoes, pears and blue cheese?! Nobody! ;)
It is happening again… the next chapter of “Bake together – Die Backüberraschung” has been written :) You can guess what the topic is this time… Little hint: it’s not the chocolate, so guess again ;))
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
