Im not yet in Christmas mood. Just a tiny bit, but not enough… there are still so many pumpkins all over the place that want to be used – so why making Christmas cookies?! No! Not yet! Let’s make some Mini Pumpkin Pies instead!

Trick or treat!? Halloween is getting bigger and bigger here in Germany it seems. Haven’t decided yet if that is good or not ;P Well – no matter if you are a fan of Halloween or not – today I have a special treat for you: Halloween Pumpkin Chocolate Cupcakes! Happy Halloween!
Have you ever tried a Pumpkin Pie? If you’re from the US the answer is most likely “yes”. Here in Germany, this kind of pie is not very common, but as a huge fan of American cuisine and baking I have, of course, made many pumpkin pies already and I have eaten probably even more ;P I like them a lot. Dunno if many Germans will feel the same when they try a Classic Pumpkin Pie like this one here for the first time… but I really think they are yummy. And if nobody wants a slice – more for me! ;P
When I made this (reeeaaally delicious) Pumpkin Cheesecake the other day, I had pumpkin purée leftover in the fridge waiting to be used. I was not in the mood for pumpkin soup though the weather here in Berlin is screaming for hot soup right now (eating it, covered with a blanket on the sofa and never leaving the sofa again…). What else can you do? Try to make the recipe you’ve done before in a different way – exactly ;) So the result are these Pumpkin Cheesecake Muffins.
