The month is almost over – this means it’s time for another round of “Bake Together – The Baking Surprise” with Andrea from Zimkeks & Apfeltarte. The topic for today’s collab is “caramel and tart” and what can I say… this (nasty) little caramel, peanuts, and chocolate tart aka. Snickers Tart (without Snickers) is the delicious result I came up with ;P
During the pandemic banana bread had a great »revival«. Everybody made them. Of course, banana bread is around for much longer. When everyone suddenly had overripe bananas and a lot of time at hand (because they were stuck at home) banana bread was the »hot s***t« to bake ;P Today I got a slightly modified »banana bread« you could say. In the shape of a bundt cake. Bananas and peanut butter combined. Something you can bake any time of the year ;)
Do you like curry? We definitely do here. How about a really delicious Vegan Thai Curry with Peanuts and Tofu? Sounds good, doesn’t it? A creamy sauce, looooads of veggies, and some (crunchy) fried tofu. What’s not to love about that? And no need for meat or dairy products. The perfect dish for “Veganuary” – no matter if you’re vegan or just exploring this kind of diet ;)
Happy Cookie Friday! Last week I made quite “nasty” American cookies – full of sugar and high in calories. Today’s cookies are pretty much the opposite. If you’ve been here before, you might know I am trying to reduce sugar in my bakes for quite some time already. With few exceptions ;) Today’s cookie recipe works without refined sugar. These Breakfast Cookies are a good example of how to use only a small amount of honey to create sweet and delicious cookies.

Some were already afraid that I get rid of this category on my blog… But don’t worry, I still have a few ideas in store for delicious cookies! Well, actually a lot of ideas. Like these Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies – they’re just too good not to share them with you ;P
Cookies come in many sizes, shapes, and colors. Sometimes they are packed with chocolate, sometimes with nuts or fruits, sometimes crispy on the outside and fudgy on the inside… these Soft Peanut Butter Cookies can be described as “super delicious, melting in your mouth” and “nothing like traditional cookies” I guess ;)
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
