Today’s Christmas cookies for my “12 Days of Christmas Cookies” are clearly influenced by the Brits! Delicious Ginger Christmas Cookies – very simple and easy to prepare and perfect for some dipping action… tea, hot apple cider, or whatever. I am sure the Queen would approve and do the same if I send her a small box with these cookies… don’t you think? ;)
The weekend is almost there! Yay! Only a short time and most of us can enjoy two days of relaxing! Not me, cause I have to bake many things, but hopefully you out there ;) So let’s celebrate those free time with some cookies, shall we?! It is rhubarb time again! Yay! I could make cakes with that stuff all year long – if it would grow all year long. Unfortunately, the season is short. Way too short in my opinion. Well, let’s make the best out of it: a Rhubarb Ginger Crumble. What a delicious cake!
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
