I had a dream…. well not that one ;) Also not a car, a house or a trip around the world – even though any of those things would be very nice ;) No. I wanted to bake pudding pretzels for a very long time and never made them. That is my dream. Or better said was – cause I finally made them at home!
I made a lot of pies lately. Really a lot! Why? Well… I will tell you some other time ;)
This delicious Banana Chocolate Pudding Pie should get all attention today. Shouldn’t be that hard, right?! Who can resist this pie-dream-come-true ;P
It’s time for some cake! The last recipes have been more on the savory side of life – for example the green sandwiches or the flambéed goat cheese… that means it’s time for something sweet again! Don’t you think so too?! This delicious custard pie with cherries and streusel is perfect to bring your sweetness level back to normal :P
This cake is one of my regular ones – I just love the combination of the vanilla custard, the poppyseed and the apples. I could eat half of the cake at once (if I’d let myself do that).
Luckily I make this cake most of the time by request – this means it is for somebody else and I can’t eat it or only get one piece at the most ;)
That is also the reason, why I don’t have a picture of the cut cake so you can see the layers – have to do that the next time I make it.
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
