Thanksgiving is over, let’s get ready for the next holiday: Christmas! The day of the days is only a few weeks away and will come as a complete surprise again for many people out there ;P To make sure you got something delicious to nibble on for the upcoming Advent season I have a traditional German Christmas bake for you – a delicious Cranberry Marzipan Poppy Seed Christmas Stollen. One of my favorite Christmas bakes!
Happy Cookie Friday! Today’s batch of fresh cookies might look a bit “underwhelming” since they look like “plain old” chocolate chip cookies, but in terms of taste, these fellas here are definitely more exciting! We have delicious chocolate chip cookies with an extra load of cranberries in da house today! Sweet and chocolaty meets fruity and sour. Great combination!
There are probably a million different recipes and variations for chocolate chip cookies out there. The “cookie wheel” cannot really be reinvented here I guess. But what you can do is combining ingredients and flavors you like the most to create a chocolate chip cookie that is perfect for you. In my case, that’s cranberries and chocolate. Sometimes it can be so easy… ;P
Happy Cookie Friday! I hope you are all well and in the mood for some delicious cookies! ;) Today I got a new cookie recipe with macadamia nuts because those nuts work so well in cookies – don’t you think?! We got cookies with macadamia, cranberries and white chocolate on the menu today. I am pretty sure you will love these cookies as much as I do!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Let’s get the party started. I want everything green – hair, clothes, and food! Everything ;) Well… maybe we don’t have to color the food green. The Irish have so many delicious bakes that work well without additional green food color… Irish Soda Bread, for example. Who would have guessed, right?! Just kidding ;)
It’s time to think about Christmas cookies, right? The Christmas season starts soon – well, in stores it already started some weeks ago ;) The 1st Advent is not far, so let’s talk Christmas cookies, shall we?! Are you the “classic type” that prefers old-fashioned cookies or do you also try “new things” like these Gingerbread Fruit Cake Cookies? If you just said “no” you should think again… these cookies are really delicious ;)
I got a fresh batch of cookies for you today with loads of stuff inside. As we all know – more is more! Oats, nuts, cranberries, and some white chocolate – I guess there is something for everyone in there. These cookies were definitely a hit in our house and gone in an instant ;)
These Cranberry Nut Oatmeal Cookies are probably not the most beautiful cookies in the world – I am honest with you – I have seen prettier ones. But the combination of the almonds, coconut, cranberries, oats, and chocolate is awesome! So good! You got something sweet, something soft, something crunchy… all at the same time with each bite you make.
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
