If you’re as lazy as I am (sorry, not sorry), you try to save time and avoid extra work as best as you can. No matter where. Even when baking cookies! Ok… maybe I am not really lazy… just not in the mood to do stuff several times in a row, clean up stuff several times, etc. That’s why I love me some Slice ‘n’ Bake Cookies like these here. One big bowl of dough makes two completely different batches of cookies. One batch with cashews (a bit salty) and the other batch with cranberries and some extra chocolate. That’s great, isn’t it? ;)
If you need a quick fix for a delicious dessert you should definitely make yourself a crumble. It’s so good and super easy to prepare. What kind of fruits or berries you use to make a crumble doesn’t matter – it will turn out great no matter what. This one here is made with a mixture of apples and cranberries. Delicious combination!
October is almost over. It’s time for a new “Bake Together – The Baking Surprise”! Many of you probably expect something for Halloween today but unfortunately, I do not have anything bloody for you today. Sorry! Just a delicious Apple Pecan & Cranberry Streusel Cake. Nothin’ overly fancy. If you want it to be Halloween-themed you could pour some red fruit sauce on top and stick a few knives into it… but the cake is actually fine as it is here :P
Normally you would get a fresh batch of cookies on a Friday, but that’s over. Now every day of the week can be a cookie day ;) Today I got some chocolate-packed no-bake cookies with puffed wheat, cranberries, and Oreos. Delicious cookies with Marabou chocolate that will be gone in no time. At least that’s what happened here. Gone in an instant. Fortunately, they are made as quickly as they are eaten ;P
Happy Cookie Friday! How about some crumbly cookies with apples and cranberries today? My friend the Cookie Monster will certainly be thrilled to try one of these cookies. Pretty sure about that ;) Quick and easy to prepare and also really delicious cookies. Is there more to ask for? Nope ;)
Christmas is getting closer day by day… tomorrow is the last Sunday before Christmas aka. Advent Sunday. It’s the same every year – as soon as December arrives time passes much quicker and then suddenly Christmas is here ;) Fortunately, I am still happy with all the Christmas stuff that is all around us… you might want to ask me again a day before Christmas if that is still the case. Anyway. Something you can do before, on the day, or after Christmas: a delicious Apple Cranberry Pie! One of my favorite bakes during winter.
Hi, my name is Marc. I'm a graphic designer.
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
