Yes, it’s another apple cake recipe! I have a neverending supply of those kinds of recipes :P This time it’s a classic German Applesauce Cake. You can get a version of this in almost every bakery here across the country. More than two pounds of apples ended up in this little cake. Delicious, sweet and bursting with flavors. You should definitely try this one!

Hello Cookie Friday! Good to have you back! I know I should not pat my own shoulder (or however you say that in English) – but I really like my Cookie Friday. A lot! Hope you have a similar opinion about it ;) I love testing all those cookie recipes, regular ones and sometimes more adventurous flavor combinations – looking at my recipe notebook – there are much more in there to make for many Fridays to come ;)
Whenever I am in Hamburg because of my job or just for fun, it is impossible for me to pass by a bakery without getting a Franzbrötchen. I’m so much in love with them since my first bite ;P
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
