The time has come (again) – the next round of “Bake together – Die Backüberraschung” – the special event with Andrea from “Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte” and moi :) This month Andrea decided to go for the topic “summer pie”. I am really excited what she made – here you can find a pie with loads of berries – basically all I could find on the farmers market :P
You got a bowl of blueberries in the fridge waiting to be used? We tend to forget about these little berries when they are somewhere in the back of the fridge. This should not happen, of course. Get those berries out of the fridge and bake this delicious Blueberry Mascarpone Cheesecake immediately! It’s the best thing you can do with berries like these. ;)
This is by far the best cheesecake I have ever made. I am not exaggerating here – not the slightest bit! It’s not because of the blueberries, it is because of the cheesecake… this creamy delicious cheesecake ;) You have to make it yourself and then you will see that I am telling the truth!
This might not be the prettiest cake I ever made but it’s definitely one of the most delicious ones ;) I love this Blueberry Polenta Upside Down Cake! It’s so good! Great texture, not too sweet and great flavors. Another good thing: the ingredients I used are more suitable for my new diet. Means I can eat this one here as well. Not too much but at least a piece. Yay! ;))
Once you make your fist scones, you’re hooked on them ;)
Why? Because they are so easy and fast to make and sooooo good! The might not be the prettiest baked goods, but who cares about that when you have something really delicious on your plate? ;) You can expect much more recipes for scones from me in the future. These here with rhubarb were also amazing. Queen Elisabeth II would be proud! For sure. Maybe I should bring her some when she is in town this week.
I had no idea how good blueberries and lemon go together! When I baked Blueberry Lemon Muffins several weeks ago, I tried this combination for the first time – delicious! I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
