Today is the last day of the “Vegan Bake Together” week with Andrea from Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte. I can see the finish line! ;) To end this week of vegan recipes I got a delicious cake for you: a simple and easy Vegan Banana & Raspberry Cake. It’s one of my favorite cakes to make – great texture and even better flavors!
If a whole Christmas Stollen is too much for you, you might want to consider these Christmas Stollen Cantuccini – the miniature version of the classic Christmas treat. If you are fine with loads of candied fruits, and nuts, as well as a lot of powdered sugar and an abundance of calories… you probably gonna like these Christmas cookies. I love them and think they are a great addition to the regular Christmas cookie Lollapalooza ;)
Macarons are one of the best sweet treats I can think of! They are also my absolute nightmare. Well, almost… vegan Macarons are actually worse ;P They are really bit***s compared to these Chocolate Macarons with Hazelnut Praliné Cream. Nevertheless, I only make Macarons for special occasions and only when I’m in a good mood. Like last week. And here you can see the results… ;P
I assume there is an infinite number of Christmas cookie recipes out there in the world. So much to bake and try but honestly, we pretty much made the same cookies each year. Over and over. To break the cycle, we decided to make our regular cookies and try at least one or two new cookie recipes each year. Cantuccini or Biscotti are always on the “newbie” list because we like those cookies a lot and there are many different recipes out there to try. Like these Chocolate Espresso Cantuccini here with almonds. Very delicious little treats ;)
Christmas is approaching fast and here in Germany finally some Christmas markets are ready to open up again (after not having any last year). Let’s hope with some restrictions they can stay open this year so we can finally get into the Christmas mood again – with mulled wine, gingerbread, and roasted almonds ;) Those roasted almonds are needed for these Roasted Almonds Chocolate Chip Cookies here. Sure, you could also roast almonds at home, but the ready almonds from the market are good and would make it easier for you to prepare these cookies ;P
Happy Cookie Friday to all Cookie Monsters out there! It’s time to celebrate. Exactly six years ago Cookie Friday saw the light of day for the first time. Quite some time, isn’t it? ;) With these delicious Toblerone Crunchy Almond Cookies, we’re going “back to the roots” today, because the first batch of cookies for Cookie Friday was also made with Toblerone. It never gets old. Just like the motto: T.G.I.C.F. – Thank God it’s Cookie Friday! ;)
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
