It is “Bake Together” Time and the vegan week comes to a glorious end. You might have noticed that Andrea from Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte and I decided to extend our monthly “Bake Together” and publish only vegan recipes all week long. Sometimes baked and sometimes cooked – always delicious! Today is the last day and what could be better than a delicious Vegan Chocolate Coconut Cream Pie to end this week?!
For Americans I think Thanksgiving is only Thanksgiving if you serve them some delicious pie along with the turkey – I don’t think the bird is the hero ;) Who would not want a slice of pie as a dessert?! Pumpkin Pie and Apple Pie are both really nice! But I personally love Pecan Pie so much more! Luckily (for you) I got the recipe for the Best Pecan Pie you can imagine right here…
I already made several recipes with apples this fall, but to be honest – there is always room for one more ;) Fall is apple season and I think you should do as many recipes that include apples as possible. That’s why I made this delicious Apple Crumble Pie today. Well, last week ;) The combination of the apple and crumble topping is so good. Not making this would have been a crime. Is that something you can say in English? ;)
It’s time for another “foodie holiday”! Today is National Pumpkin Day! Well… the day is mostly celebrated in the US, but we don’t mind and want to celebrate that big and orange fellas here in Germany as well ;) By “we” I mean me, myself and some other food bloggers from all over Germany. Partners in pumpkin crime so to say. So get ready for some delicious pumpkin recipes. I started celebrations early with some delicious Jack O’Lantern Cookies yesterday, but this Maple Pumpkin Pie is definitely the highlight of the pumpkin celebration :)
Peaches are available until late September here – I like them a lot and making pies with them is one of my favorite things to do! The only thing I don’t like: peeling them or removing the stones. That is always a pain in the a** ;) So if you want to make this Classic Peach Pie I recommend getting some help with the peaches – pretty sure everyone would be happy to help if you pay them with a large piece of the finished pie. Unfortunately, I had to do all the work myself for this one here :P
Today I got the best of two worlds – apple pie meets cinnamon rolls. These two come together to create a super delicious Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie! Sounds good, right? This pie made it to our “all-time favorites list” immediately and will end up in our oven more often I think – maybe also in your oven (made by you of course and not me)?! ;)
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
