How about some muffins? Haven’t had any of those for a while. Would you like one too? Well… guess I have some left here to share. If you’re up for some delicious muffins with lemon and poppy seed raise your hand! First come, first serve though… :P

Do you love muffins as much as I do? Probably, because you ended up on this site with a recipe for Strawberry Oats Muffins with Streusel ;) If you were looking for burgers and were lead to this site, something is definitely wrong ;P
So let’s assume everything is ok and you wanted to find some muffins. Well… you found some delicious ones for sure! Made with healthy oats, pecans, and freeze-dried strawberries. Yes freeze-dried ;) Even though it’s the season for fresh and delicious strawberries here in Germany right now, I prefer using the ones that look far from fresh when you open the package ;)
I think everybody knows about them by now – Cruffins! Those delicious “hybrid” treats, where croissants and muffins come together. The flaky croissant gets the shape of a muffin, sometimes with a filling and it’s always delicious! In this case the filling is made with prunes!
Yes, not only a donut can fall in love with a croissant (talking about the infamous Cronuts). Muffins can do that too… in some way ;) These delicious and crunchy Cruffins are a mix of a flaky fluffy croissant and a muffin ;) Forget cronuts, they are fatty fat fat – these cruffins are much healthier (well, at least a tiny bit). They have quite some butter inside to get the fluffy texture, but unlike cronuts they are not fried. That’s a healthy snack, right? ;)
Once the rhubarb season has started, there is no way of stopping it! Week after week the red and green stalks end up in my shopping basket – I just can’t stop buying it. There are so many delicious things you can do with these veggies – a simple compote, galettes, and cakes… or delicious Rhubarb Streusel Muffins like these ones here ;)
