Today I got the best of two worlds – apple pie meets cinnamon rolls. These two come together to create a super delicious Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie! Sounds good, right? This pie made it to our “all-time favorites list” immediately and will end up in our oven more often I think – maybe also in your oven (made by you of course and not me)?! ;)
Yesterday I published an easy recipe for a sweet and delicious Lemon Curd… so what could be better than use it right away to make something equally delicious? Yeah, right? Makes sense… if life gives you lemon curd – make a Lemon Cheesecake Pie topped with Lemon Curd and Whipped Cream! ;)
Do you like chili con carne? Do you like tortilla chips with pico de gallo? Do you like pies? If you answered one or all of the questions above with “YES”, you are probably the perfect candidate for this 3-in-1 party pie aka. Chili con Carne Tortilla Pie. To all of you tex-mex fans out there… this is the pie to make! It’s still some time until New Years, but this pie would be perfect for a party I guess ;)
It’s December and you all know what this means – Christmas Season is about to hit us hard ;P Well… for “us” bloggers the madness it’s actually halfway through already I’d say. Many recipes and articles that are going to be published in the upcoming weeks to Christmas have been already prepared the previous month or even earlier. At least on my blog here. I heard other bloggers are a bit more spontaneous when it comes to creating a blog post ;) Well… this Cherry Cranberry Mulled Wine Pie is quite fresh though. I decided last week to make it, so there was still some leftover in the fridge this week when I was writing this text. Not much though, cause the pie was quite popular ;)
Cherry Cranberry Mulled Wine Pie | Bake to the roots
I think there will be quite a few people that are not gonna like this pie ;) It looks horrible, but the flavors are so good! But hey… it’s a Halloween Apple Pie, so “horrible” is actually good! Right?! ;)
Halloween Apple Pie “Face/Off” | Bake to the roots
It’s time for another “Bake Together – The Baking Surprise”! Yay! Last month Andrea (Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte) and I skipped our regular baking event. Since we are posting our recipes always on the last weekend of the month, December is always off the charts because of Christmas and New Years Eve. Too many other things on our plates :P But a little break is never wrong. Gives you new energy for new tasks. This time we decided to work with some veggies for a change. That’s why this month we made “beetroot” our topic. And as you can see I made a veggies pie with red beet. Mmmm…!
Hi, my name is Marc. I'm a graphic designer. I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;) Read more...
