Come to the dark side – we have cookies! And cake! ;) You all know these words, right?! Darth Vader used them to lure people into his troops to fight for the Empire… or something like that. Or maybe that’s just my fantasy. Well… it would make sense – a delicious cake like this Black Out Chocolate Fudge Bundt Cake would bring in the masses to join the dark side. Pretty sure about that! ;P

Well, all jokes aside – here is not the dark side of anything. The lights went off, that’s all. And if you take pictures of a black cake in a black pan… it looks very dark :P

Madeira Bundt Cake

Before I actually had my first slice of a Madeira cake, I always thought this kind of cake has its origin on the island of Madeira and that it is flavored with Madeira wine… I mean, come on – that would make sense, right?! No it doesn’t ;) But it does not change the fact that this Madeira Bundt Cake is super delicious. That is proven! :P

Cranberry Hazelnut Chocolate Bundt Cake

This week is dedicated to chocolate. Decided that on Sunday ;) As soon as it gets warmer outside, chocolate is not always the best idea if you want a sweet snack since it is melting pretty fast in warm temperatures. Unfortunately, the melting process is not always happening in one’s mouth ;)

Is there anything you can do to prevent this from happening?! Well… it’s pretty easy actually: use the chocolate for baking! As you can see with this Chocolate Cranberry Hazelnut Bundt Cake – that trick works well.

Rum Cake

I am really sorry (not) but all kids have to stay outside today. Quick! Close the doors! We got some delicious cake for adults only! I guess you already got an idea when reading the title what’s going to happen: RUM CAKE! ;) Super delicious and really not suitable for kids! Keep that in mind. The stories about alcohol disappearing when baking are not true. Most of the alcohol stays where you put it… and that’s what we want! :P

(Tyrol) Nut Gugelhupf with Chocolate Coating

It’s Gugelhupf time! Haven’t baked a bundt cake aka. Gugelhupf for quite some time to be honest – even though they are so easy to prepare… and most of the time delicious ;) Bundt cakes is something even my mom managed to bake even though she was no great baker. I think she would like this (Tyrol) Nut Gugelhupf with that thick layer of chocolate on top. Maybe I should send her a piece. :P

Red Velvet Cheesecake Bundt Cake

[Deutsche Version] Tomorrow is the great day – the day of the lovers is approaching quickly: Valentine’s Day! To be honest – you could also call it the day of the florists and greeting cards industry :P I am totally fine with this day – normally I have a little surprise for my better half at home, but since there are more singles than actual couples here in Berlin, I think we should celebrate another special day: Galentine’s Day! :)
