I got some vegan cookies for you today. Some time ago I was asking you guys on my Instagram account what kind of cookies you wanted on the blog and many said they would like vegan cookies, lactose-free cookies or gluten-free cookies. Well… with these vegan Tahini Date Pistachio Cookies we got all of those requests covered I guess ;)
It’s the time of the month again – the last Sunday of the month is here and that means another round of “Bake Together – The Baking Surprise” with Andrea from Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte. This time it’s all about pistachios! After all the bakes with fruits, we made the last several months, we thought it’s time to go nuts! ;) So today I got some nice Baklava with pistachios for you. I bet you will like it!
Sometimes you got to try new things. In case of baking and cooking, it means trying flavor combinations you haven’t tried yet. Exhibit A: these Tahini Pistachio Cookies! Delicious little fellas, I did not think would taste as good as they actually taste ;) The first bite made it clear – these cookies are extremely delicious!
It’s Friday and you know what this means. It’s time for Cookies! Yay! Today’s easy peasy recipe is for delicious Pistachio Cardamom Shortbread Cookies. Sounds good, right? Well… not only good, it’s awesome! Just kidding! But I really like them a lot ;)
What’s the first thing you think of, when you see an avocado? Guacamole. Right. But cake? Neither would I ;)
Avocados are like pineapples for me (sounds weird, I know). I see them in the supermarket and think “hm… I really like them. Haven’t had one in a while. Let me buy one!” – and then I look at them at home and think “I will do something with it tomorrow”. And after a couple of days they are rotten, because I never touched them again. It’s bad.
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
