Today’s recipe will be a bit spooky. Well, not really spooky spooky… let’s say it’s different from other recipes ;) Instead of simple chocolate cookies, I got super chocolaty Halloween Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Monster Cookies. That’s quite a mouth full, I know ;) They may look a bit unusual for a “normal” day of the year, but for Halloween… perfect. You would not judge them by their appearance, anyway – it’s the inside that counts.
Happy Peanut Day! To all peanut and peanut butter fans out there – this is your day! A day where you can enjoy your favorite treat without anybody being allowed to complain about it ;) That’s why I got these delicious Peanut Butter Brownie Bombs for you today. Sweet, salty, and extremely delicious! Perfect to eat and to throw at somebody ;P But please… do not aim for people with a peanut allergy – even though that would be funny (juuust kidding!) ;)
Some of you may remember my cookbook “Bake in the USA”… it’s been quite a while already since it got published. Unfortunately, the edition is out of stock and not available in regular bookstores anymore. There are still a few online stores that sell some (leftover) books nobody bought or some used copies, but you need a bit of luck nowadays to find a copy. Fortunately for you, some of the recipes from the book can be found here on the blog. Happy Cookie Friday! The week just went by like a flash! I hope you are all fine and you haven’t been sweating too much in the last few days… it’s pretty hot in Germany right now. Summer is giving us all with high temperatures and sunshine all day long. Even though I am liking it – if you have to bake, you want it to be a bit cooler actually ;) When it is already hot outside, you don’t really want to switch on the oven in the kitchen… Fortunately, these Date Peanut Butter Cookies only need a few minutes in the oven. The result is absolutely worth the extra degrees in your kitchen ;P

It’s Cookie Friday once again and that means I got a fresh batch of cookies for you! These delicious Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cookies belong in the category “leftover baking”… happens here sometimes ;) I had a lot of peanut butter and chocolate-coated peanuts in my cabinets and since I hardly eat things like that anymore (on its own) I tend to use half-emptied packages of sweets and things like that quite often in bakes… not always knowing if a certain combination works. But most of the time it does turn out good… good enough to feed friends and relatives whenever they come over for a visit. Just kidding ;P
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
