One thing that has to be on the Easter Brunch/Breakfast table: Carrot Cake! At least when I am involved in the planning. The Easter Bunny has to have something nice too – and since we know he loves carrots – a carrot cake is pretty much obvious :P This year it is going go be a special carrot cake – the 3-in-1 version… ;)

What can I say – every other cheesecake can just go home :P This Japanese Cheesecake aka. Cotton Cheesecake is the fluffiest, lightest, airiest, delicious cheesecake you can imagine! Ever! I might sound like I got paid from the “Japanese Cheesecake Lobby” or that I am exaggerating a bit (or a lot) – but that is (both) not the case – it is just an awesome cheesecake! Bye Bye New York Cheesecake! You lost this battle – I am really sorry :P
Ich bin keiner dieser “Hardcore” Eurovision Song Contest Fans – beim besten Willen nicht! Aber ich schaue es mir immer wieder gerne an – so wie 150 Millionen andere in der ganzen Welt ;) Mit einer größeren Gruppe ist es immer eine Menge Spaß – am Besten gemischt mit Hardcore Fans und Leuten, die nur widerwillig dabei sind ;P
An easy bake with a very long name ;)
I guess everybody has a good carrot cake recipe at hand – it’s a pretty popular bake. There are many versions – with or without nuts, apple sauce, pineapples, coconut, different spice combinations etc. These ones are made with homemade apple sauce – together with the carrots and the spices you get a moist and flavorful cupcake which is not overly sweet (as many other).
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
