Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie

Fall finally arrived and that means it is pumpkin season. These orange and yellow bulky thingies are basically lying around everywhere in supermarkets and farmers’ markets right now and blocking everything. Including walkways… well and waiting to be turned into delicious dishes or Halloween decorations – depending on what type of pumpkin it is ;) As a food blogger, I prefer getting those you can cook and bake with – though I don’t mind getting a big one for some carving action sometimes. Grape Pie

Another month has passed since the last “Bake Together” with Andrea from Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte. Somehow those “working from home” days seem all to be the same, including the weekends, and the month passed by much faster than usual. Could also be the heat that makes me forget whole days since I am not sleeping very well at night… ;P Anyway. Now month, new topic and this time it’s all about good old grapes. Like the ones, I used for this delicious Grape Pie ;)

Ice Ice Baby… Vanilla… Ice Ice Baby! Does anyone else know this song? It’s been a while since this song was in the charts, but when I try out recipes for ice cream at home, this song keeps sneaking into my brain and I can’t get the thing out of my head for several hours ;) That’s what happened when making this delicious Apple Pie Ice Cream… once again! Ice Ice Baby! Luckily I don’t start jumping around as I used to when the song was still playing on the radio… ;P

It’s »Bake Together« time once again! Yay! Once a month Andrea from Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte and I come together for this little baking event, but this time it seems it was a much longer time in between… can be due to all the lockdown stuff – somehow the time seemed to run slower or stopped at all for several weeks. Staying at home all that time doing the same stuff each day makes you forget the time I guess. ;)

Well… everything is better now, so let’s not complain anymore! Today I got a delicious »All American« Sour Cherry Blueberry Pie for you because the theme of this month’s Bake Together is »Sour Cherries & America«. The combination might not be obvious at first sight, but it makes sense at some point… believe me. ;)
