I know – it is a bit late to make Christmas cookies now – but it is Cookie Friday and you deserve cookies! That’s why I made these little fellas here ;) Happy Cookie Friday!

Macarons are perfect any day of the year. In the morning, afternoon and at night. 24/7 365 Days! :P Why? Because they are super delicious and you can ‘adapt’ them to any time or year or season – in summer you make something with berries and in winter you can make them with typical Christmas flavors – for example like these here with gingery cookies – awesome, right? :)
What do you need for your Easter Egg Hunt? Easter Eggs! Why not trying these here instead of hard boiled eggs or chocolate eggs? I bet your your kids will like them (almost) as much as chocolate eggs ;)) I would have liked them as a kid (but we did not know lemon curd back then…).
Sweet braided yeast loaves have a long tradition for Easter Celebrations here in Germany. Or better said all over Europe ;)
I can understand why – it is pretty easy to make (takes some time, but the yeast is actually doing most of the work) and super delicious. And so versatile! You can make those loaves plain, with raisins or other fruits, nuts, poppy seed, chocolate… and then eat it for breakfast or with a coffee in the afternoon or just all day as a snack (that’s how I do it).
I have to admit those bunnies hardly look like bunnies ;) They are a bit abstract. Or a lot.
Well – but I believe all of you have a good imagination and see bunnies in those little… creatures. Maybe I should have made the ears longer, the head all in all a bit smaller and put something in the face for yes or a nose… next time :) Anyways – these BUNNIES – are a nice treat for your Easter Brunch. They are almost finger food because they are quite small, go well with some butter and jam or just as decoration on the plate. Well I would eat it if it’s a decoration on my plate – so let’s stick to finger food ;)
This is one of my favorite bakes for Easter. There is nothing better than a slice of a fresh baked sweet braided loaf with some butter or homemade raspberry jam! Especially this one here with poppy seeds. Sunday morning is saved with this. Even when the weather is sh*tty. Which happens a lot here in Berlin in spring – or what is officially called spring but feels more like an extended winter :P
