We’re big fans of quick and easy pasta dishes here. When the pasta tastes as delicious as this Ravioli alla Vodka with Spinach, everything’s just perfect. A bowl of that, a nice movie, and good company, and you can really enjoy the evening… without having to spend hours cooking in the kitchen beforehand. Sounds good, right?! ;)
Pre-cooked pasta from the supermarket can save you a lot of work and time when cooking. I don’t see it as »cheating« when using it in a recipe. Why not make things a little easier for yourself if you can? You don’t have to spend hours in the kitchen preparing pasta dough plus filling to make these delicious Ravioli in Creamy Tomato & Spinach Sauce. You can simply use a good product from the supermarket and have a delicious dinner on the table in no time at all!
We like to use wine in pasta recipes to enhance the flavors of the pasta sauce, for example. Hard liquor is something we rarely use for cooking… except when it comes to Pasta alla Vodka. As the name suggests, vodka plays a significant role in this dish. What may sound a little strange at first is an incredibly delicious pasta dish we love to prepare here. Not just because it tastes good, but also because it’s quick to put on the table ;P
In our house, everyone is always very happy when a wok is being heated, because it means something delicious is about to be made ;) We love Asian cuisine and love to prepare whatever we can at home. These delicious Stir-Fry Hoisin Chicken Noodles, for example. Great flavors and really easy to prepare. The perfect dish for a weeknight when time is limited, but you still want something tasty on your plates or in your bowls.
We’re big pasta fans here! There are so many delicious pasta dishes out there to try… all those delicious carb bombs! Something that, unfortunately, can’t be denied. Loads of carbs ;) However, if you counteract the carbs with a few veggies, like I did here with the Green Goddess Pasta, the carbs are not as bad I guess… at least that’s what I am telling myself ;P
I love pasta – so a big bowl of noodles is something I absolutely gravitate to… even though I should avoid carbs. But what can you do when something is so delicious? It’s no different with these Fettuccine al Limone with Green Asparagus. So good! This dish is particular popular here in spring and beginning of summer when asparagus is available from local farms. Local and seasonal is always the best, right?! ;)
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
