Muffins are always a delicious snack between meals. However, when they are as big as these XL Blueberry Cheesecake Muffins, they might be more than just a snack for some people. Delicious extra large muffins with a good amount of blueberries and topped with cheesecake filling. The combination is just awesome! They normally go very quickly when you place them on the kitchen table ;P
Thanks to the Olympics ’24, the good old chocolate muffin has gone viral for some time and has fully embraced its 15 minutes of fame. However, that’s not the reason why I love baking these Double Chocolate Zucchini Muffins so much – they have a lot of loyal fans here for a quite a while already. As soon as these muffins come out of the oven, you have to be careful… they might disappear instantly ;P
A muffin a day keeps the doctor away, right?! ;) Well, that might not be totally true, but one of these delicious Blueberry Banana Poppy Seed Muffins will make you at least happy. Autumn is indisputable, the time for all things with pumpkin. They are basically everywhere starting in September and October. You have to be careful walking into a supermarket and not falling over those orange footballs lying around everywhere ;P To be honest – I don’t mind because I like to use pumpkins in my recipes. There are times when you are craving something sweet, but there is nothing sweet in your cabinets. If you stopped »hoarding« sweets and chocolate as I did, this is actually a very likely situation ;P Luckily, I normally got everything at home to bake something sweet. Something sweet and easy like these Banana & Walnut Muffins. Mixed together in a few minutes and baked just as quickly. Faster than any delivery service could bring you chocolate… I assume. Definitely cheaper ;P
You don’t always need a big cake or a pie if you are craving something sweet. Sometimes a plain muffin is all you need. By “plain” I do not mean “boring”. I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
