Vegan cupcakes – something you definitely should try. Before I made my first batch of vegan cupcakes I was skeptical about how they would come out, how they would taste and if they can compete with ‘real’ cupcakes – believe me they can ;)

Summer is strawberry time! Here in Berlin we have those little stalls all over the city, where farmers sell their strawberries, coming directly from the fields close by. They are fresh, tasty and if it’s a good “strawberry summer” they are very cheap :)
Father’s Day is coming up – maybe this is something your dad would like? Well – give it a try ;)
I am not the biggest fan of peanut butter to be hontest. This means not I would not eat it when it’s in front of me, but I’m just not buying it on a regular basis in the supermarket – in Germany it’s not really common anyways.
Hi folks – I hope you had a nice long Easter weekend and found some nice chocolate eggs and bunnies :) I’m still a bit in the bunny mood I guess, so I decided to make some carrot cake cupcakes. These recipe uses applesauce and pineapples – that makes the cupcakes very moist and fruity. I liked it – hope you do too.
I wanted to make something special for Easter – something besides the regular stuff I do – and I found a picture of very cute looking cupcakes I instantly wanted to make. The cupcakes and buttercream is a standard recipe and easy to make. The decoration is… well… a little bit tricky ;) But with some time and a steady hand you can do that too. Happy Easter folks!
A friend of mine asked me to test a recipe for ‘After Eight’ Cupcakes that did not work well for her – I have to admit it did not work too well for me either. The cupcake itself was fine, but the frosting was just a disaster. ;)
