Description

You can basically make cookies with everything – even with chocolate bars. Just chop them, add them to the dough, bake and whoop… delicious Snickers Cookies!

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup (120g) butter
3/4 cup (150g) brown sugar*
1/4 cup (50g) sugar (fine)*
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract*
1.75 oz. (50g) semi-sweet chocolate*, melted
2 cups (260g) all-purpose flour*
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 ounces (170g) semi-sweet chocolate*, roughly chopped
2-3 Snickers*, roughly chopped

Instructions

1. Line two baking sheets with baking parchment and set aside. Add the butter and sugars to a large bowl and mix until light and fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla extract and melted chocolate and mix in well. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and add to the bowl and mix until just combined. Chop the chocolate and snickers and fold into the batter. Place the dough in the fridge for about 15 minutes.

2. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Use a cookie scoop* or tablespoon to drop small amounts of dough onto the baking sheets. Leave enough space in between and bake the cookies for about 8-10 minutes. The edges should be crisp and the center still a bit soft. Take them out of the oven, let them cool down a bit on the baking sheets, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool down completely.

Notes

Enjoy baking!
