- 10 dried dates
- 10 dried plums
- 10 slices bacon
- olive oil
- 2 tbsp. honey
Instructions
- Cut the bacon stripes in half and wrap each date and plum tight with one of those half stripes. Set aside.
- In a fying pan heat up some olive oil and add the wrapped dates and plums – the open side of the bacon stripe should face down – that should help to keep the bacon sticking to the dates and plums. If not, you shoult use toothpicks to keep everything in place. Fry on all sides until the bacon gets a nice color and the fat is almost vanished. Reduce the heat and drizzle the honey over the dates and plums, mix carefully and let fry for another 1-2 minutes. Transfer to a bowl/plate and serve warm.
