Description

Delicious grilled cheese sandwich with crunchy bacon strips an homemade guacamole!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 slices bacon
  • 2 slices bread (e.g. sourdough)
  • 12 tbsp. soft butter
  • 1/2 cup (50g) cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp. guacamole
  • some crushed tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Fry the bacon in a pan until nice and crispy. Take out and place on a piece of kitchen paper to get rid of some of the fat.
  2. Butter the bread and place one slice of bread with the buttered side facing down in a hot (griddle) pan. Add half of the cheddar on top, the fried bacon, guacamole, crushed tortilla chips and top with the rest of the cheese. Place the second slice of bread (buttered side up) on top and fry over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes, until the bread is golden brown. Turn around and fry from the other side until the cheese has melted. Take out of the pan, cut in half and serve warm with some chips or fries.
