I needed something sweet quite urgently this time. Good to know that the need for sweets can be satisfied without going to the supermarket or a bakery. All you need is a quick bread like this one here with loads of cinnamon aka. a Cinnamon Swirl (Quick) Bread ;)
One of my New Year’s resolutions for 2016: More homemade bread! Everything else has been forgotten already – doing more sports, loose weight, less chocolate, look for a new job (haha – well not that one)… well the first one at least has been accomplished by making a delicious Challah.
The life of a famous food blogger can be hard sometimes…… So I heard from others. Hahaha ;P
Just kidding – but if you have a food blog and post a lot of recipes and pictures of baked stuff – people have expectations ;)
For example when you’re invited to a party…. No, a bottle of cheap wine won’t do it anymore. You are forced to bake something. Well not really forced (my friends still appreciate cheap wine), but people want something baked from you. If I say it like that it still sounds forced… ;)
I know I am going “borderline” here – there are people that like raisins and then there are “the others”. So I guess the chance you gonna like this recipe are 50:50 ;)
I am definitely a person that likes raisins but I have many friends that hate them, so normally I am leaving them out if possible necessary. In this case here – f*** it – I am putting in loads of raisins. Next time even more! ;))
