So this will be my first non-baking recipe on here I think…! Or better said my first cooking recipe! Yay! ;)
It was not planned to be honest ;) I made this awesome bacon bourbon jam the other day and needed some pictures to show where you can actually use it. Of course the bacon jam is awesome by itself already, but showing some examples is never a bad idea… so I needed something to show off ;P
There are regular burgers and then there are these mini sized bundles of joy called sliders! ;)
This year all my homemade bugers turned out to be mini burgers so far. Not on purpose though ;) But to be honest – they are perfect for a party. Not much equipment needed – a napkin and you’re good to go…. and then you just have to eat eat eat! ;)
Homemade burger buns are better than the ones you can buy in a store, right? Yes. Making burger buns at home is complicated and takes a lot of time and effort, right? NOPE.
These buns here are made in less than an hour – and the time you’re actually working is much less. So there is no excuse from now on not to make burger buns at home if you’re having a BBQ with friends! Not for me and definitely not for you! ;P
I love my job, but in between I love to bake and try new things in the kitchen. A lot of my friends and colleagues encourage me to bake - for a very simple reason: they get the leftovers - and it seems they like it most of the time ;)
