Sometimes I wonder why it took me so long to make lemon curd at home. Stupid. It is such an easy thing to do and the result is sooo delicious! Well… as we say in Germany “Lieber spät als nie” – translated “better late than never” ;)
I got no cake today! I’m sorry. Today’s is all about breakfast! I mean you could make a cake for breakfast – that would be an option – but I want to concentrate on the good stuff that ends on your bread on a nice Sunday brunch/breakfast: a delicious Nougat-White-Chocolate-Spread! So good!

Are you a licorice fan or do you hate it? I think there is not much in between loving it and hating it ;) At our house, there are two distinct parties – the licorice lovers and the licorice haters… I belong to the group that likes licorice. Of course! :P That’s why you are getting some delicious licorice syrup from me today. Homemade of course!
It is quite common now that bloggers turn into book authors. Happened to me too as well some time ago ;) This year in February two of my blogger colleagues from Cologne also published their first book. Instead of cooking and baking recipes they did something different. Their first book is all about marmalade, jam and more. A really interesting topic I think. This is why I am showing you today that book and of course there is also something you can make yourself: Damson Plum Jam from the book – but slightly altered ;)
I know – you are used to seeing sweet stuff on here. But I am also able to make other, more savory things ;) Burger, sandwiches and other hearty snacks. Especially the recipes that can be done quickly are my favorites. Like this Guacamole along with some taco chips and a beer ;)
Are you making your pizza at home from the scratch, but using only pureed tomato as a base for your pizza toppings? Hmm…. well, I guess we have to have a little chat. There are better things to make your homemade pizza even better! If you tried this homemade pizza sauce once, you will never use anything else. Pretty sure about that :P
